People
AdWaveProX is deliberately small. We hire for taste, intellectual courage, and the ability to disagree constructively—not for headcount metrics that impress procurement departments.
The collective currently comprises fourteen practitioners across strategy, copy, design, motion, and production management. Most arrived from editorial publishing, luxury brand studios, or independent film—backgrounds that emphasise craft over throughput. We maintain a bench of trusted cinematographers, composers, and illustrators who integrate seamlessly when projects demand expanded capability.
Partnership structure means clients work directly with decision-makers. There is no opaque layer of account executives filtering feedback into bullet points. When you challenge a direction, the person who authored it responds in the same conversation.
Partners hold final editorial authority. They convene weekly continuity reviews and intervene before small compromises compound into brand drift.
Senior editors oversee voice consistency across languages. They maintain living style guides and conduct line-by-line audits before any public release.
Strategists translate business objectives into narrative arcs and channel choreography—ensuring media investment serves story, not vanity metrics.
Mornings begin with silent reading hour: team members review competitor work, long-form journalism, or film sequences unrelated to active briefs. The habit prevents aesthetic tunnel vision and keeps references fresh.
Fridays close with internal critiques where unfinished work is stress-tested by colleagues outside the project. Critiques are blunt but collegial; ego is checked at the shophouse stairs. Clients occasionally attend by invitation when they wish to observe our standards firsthand.
We publish no league tables, award tallies, or employee-of-the-month plaques. Recognition arrives through work that endures—campaigns clients still reference years later.
Annual studio closure occurs during the first week of August for collective rest and independent study. Active Continuum clients receive advance scheduling so deliverables remain unaffected.
Beyond the core collective, we maintain long-standing relationships with specialists who share our editorial standards: documentary cinematographers, classical composers, architectural photographers, and typographers who treat letterforms as sculpture. These collaborators are not interchangeable vendors; many have worked with AdWaveProX since our founding.
When your project requires capability outside our walls, we remain accountable for integration. You never manage parallel agencies—we orchestrate the ensemble.
Recruitment at AdWaveProX prioritises intellectual curiosity over portfolio glamour. Candidates complete a take-home exercise involving real brand problems—never unpaid speculative pitches for fictional clients. We assess how they think, revise, and defend decisions under gentle challenge.
Fluency in at least two languages is common among our team, reflecting Singapore's multilingual market reality. We value practitioners who read widely outside advertising: architecture criticism, long-form journalism, cinema history. Cross-disciplinary appetite prevents aesthetic monoculture.
Remote contributors join from London, Melbourne, and Taipei for specialised phases, but core strategy and editorial sign-off remain at Circular Road. Distributed collaboration works because our documentation standards are exhaustive—no critical decision lives only in a chat message.
We invite clients into the studio for working sessions, not performative presentations. Watching a copy edit in progress or a grade correction on the suite demystifies our process and builds trust more effectively than polished case study videos.
Some clients prefer distance; we accommodate with structured async reviews and recorded walkthroughs. Proximity is an option, never an obligation. What remains non-negotiable is direct access to partners who own creative decisions.
New collective members undergo a three-month editorial apprenticeship reviewing historical work before client-facing responsibility. This ensures continuity of standards regardless of personnel changes during long engagements.
We maintain a living archive of anonymised project learnings—what resonated, what failed, what surprised us in market response. Collective members study this archive during onboarding, inheriting institutional memory that outlasts individual tenure.
Our atelier occupies the second storey of a restored shophouse at 43 Circular Road, a short walk from Clarke Quay and the Singapore River. Consultations are by appointment.
